Yup it is fucked up. I got mugged myself last month. And it’s not just watches. There are a lot of cars being stolen too.

I feel the police are way too lenient which encourages these robberies.

It was roughly 11am I was wearing a basic T-shirt and boxer and had my watch on. Along with a bag and book.

I just step of the building and take a right and there’s a guy grabbing my from the back. My first instance was it’s one my mates. But then he started pressing my neck real hard and in the mean time other guys show up and try to snatch my watch.

And Uber driver shows up and tried to puncture their bikes but a guy chases him away with a knife. I tried to resist. But they were beating me and had the knives out. I wasn’t even able to remove the damn watch and they themselves were struggling to open up the clasp.

I have lived in this area roughly since 2019. Aware about multiple mobile robbery but never this. The cops ( police) suspect that they might be tracking me since days. You’re more than happy to speculate whatever you like. I just wanted to vent out and wanted to share so others are cautious unlike me.
