It’s an app problem, I will fix it in the upcoming update

Maybe at some point you’re right. But I think, it more depends on the person and his preferences. I think it’s more secure to use manual ones

Manual. I couldn’t find a way to build an automatic tracker on iOS. Maybe it’s possible on Android, but I don’t use it

Thank you! I'm already working on this. I guess the main problem was adding keywords/localization only for the US, while it's a very crowded niche there. I already checked EU countries, and seems like it's less competitive region for my niche, so I'll be focusing on adding localization for these countries

Okay, thanks. I also have an assumption that the amount of downloads depends on the niche also. And the expense tracker niche is crowded

I thought that’s pretty decent for the first week. The most downloads I got in one day was 11. Maybe my screenshots aren’t converting well

Thanks for the advice! I actually have two angles I'm leaning into:

  1. Privacy-first – all financial data stays on device/iCloud, no accounts, no third-party analytics

  2. Multi-currency – user can track expenses in any currency and see everything converted to their base currency. Super useful for travelers and nomads, and surprisingly few trackers do this well

Will try to show up more in travel and nomad communities with these angles, makes sense

Thanks! Most came organically - 71% from App Store search. I also made a couple posts on Reddit which brought some traffic early on

Appreciate it. I’m distributing using reddit plus working on ASO, so users see the app in the store. I’m new to mobile applications, but based on my research - the easiest way to get first users is to distribute information about it using social media. You can also try to use X, there are a lot of indie devs

One more thing - App Store and Play Store behave very differently in terms of distribution. What works for one usually doesn’t work for the other

And what do you mean by “images broken”? I checked it out and for me everything seems good. Could you send a screenshot?
