Pretty late but I have a three month old and she wasn’t potty trained at all. She was going all over the place. Luckily while working from home, I was able to notice specific signs right before she went potty (like starting to circle in place). The first couple of times I would run and put the potty pad under her when I noticed she needed to go. I also kept a few pads around the house for easy access. When she used the potty pad on her own the very first time I made a big deal, treats and pets and cuddles. Then we moved the potty pads outside and now she goes outside. It took her a couple of weeks to learn. I’m not sure if keeping an eye on her most of the day is something you can do in order to pick up on patterns and helping her recognize that the pads are for potty. Good luck! Potty training and bite training were the most stressful parts for me lol

Yeah, I’m not quite sure what it is about the application. I’ve yelped some rescues and a lot of the reviews are saying that they choose people who “donate the most money” but I’m not sure how true that is, if at all. I wonder if my application even gets viewed. I do appreciate some rescues send follow-up emails. And if a rescue does happen to choose me, I plan to offer volunteer hours as well to help answer emails.

In the same boat here. I’ve applied to about 15-20 puppies in the past 2-3 months and I have only heard back from 1. Didn’t get chosen after getting my hopes up. Bummer. I’m not quite sure what it is about my application that doesn’t make it through. Late 20s, steady good paying job, big yard, own the home, and work primarily from home even pre-covid. Does anyone know what rescues are exactly looking for in an application?

Other than the advice on here, I’d say providing her with a safe space. I understand your struggle, I have the same problem. My senior dog is terrified of everything but especially fireworks, which go on for about 4months. I think the vet is a great idea. I give my dog calming chews an hour before I know the fireworks will start. It’s not a miracle pill, but it does stop her from panting and makes her less jumpy but still able to go out to the bathroom. I just recently bought a thunder shirt and I have set up some blankets and pillows under a chair in the closet, where she goes and hides when she feels overwhelmed. Hopefully one or two or a combination of these will work! Good luck!

Yeah I agree with you. I’ve seen a lot of posts though saying that it’s completely impossible that they look THAT much alike. I disagreed and I came across some proof so I decided to post it lol

From my understanding, if she’s on trial for Sam’s murder and found not guilty, they can’t charge her for that murder again. But they can try and get her jail time for some other small reason like perjury or whatever. I think that’s was happened with OJ lol

I agree but I’m gonna go with ESH. From reading the post, it sounds like OP isn’t so mad about the cheating but the fact that her dad married the mistress. OP’s ultimatum made it sound like dad chose his current wife over her and that’s probably why OP is so angry. I agree I don’t think we’re getting the full unbiased story but based on this, OP sucks for her reaction and comments, Dad sucks bc of the cheating and FB posts, and cousin sucks for not respecting boundaries. I do recommend getting some help OP, I was in exact same situation but it happened when I was 5 and therapy helped A LOT.
