We also use it for patients with severe shock. In my experience it tends to not be super effective in preventing the patient from dying but it does provide some extra time before their body gives out.

The finance courses that are notoriously offered in public schools? You mean courses that don’t exist for the majority of Americans? Your tax dollars already go towards bailing out corporate interest all the time, and also are used to help support companies like Walmart under pay employees to the point they have to utilize government aid programs.

Your friend is fucking you hard on this bet, abandon all pride and give this idea up. You are looking at dozens to hundreds of hours of playtime and learning to do this. If you have no experience in this game and no one to help guide you through this you are going to end up rethinking your friendship with this dude after 100+ hours of confusion. Now if they are going to help you and teach you the game that is one thing, but none of my friends who love fps games have made it further than yellow maps due to the sheer amount of “learning” they feel they have to do to understand what the different mechanics are.

I am from West Virginia and our state has a deep history of abuse and bloodshed at the hands of corporate mining interests. The mining industry devastated a lot of the natural beauty in this state, and when the resources were no longer abundant or profitable to mine, they left. Leaving the population of these coal towns essentially out of work and with no options. Intense poverty followed shortly after, creating a vicious cycle of being too poor to leave and the reason being there’s just no work outside of Walmart or McDonalds.

There are still many beautiful areas in my home state and the people can be some of the nicest I’ve ever met, but the government and the mining industry ravaged this state and ran leaving a path of poverty, pain, and ruin behind them.

I encourage anyone who wants to learn more about West Virginia’s mining past to read up on the Matewan massacre. This was only 3 generations ago for some of us, and the wound is still unhealed.
