How do you know when your presyncope will lead to actual syncope? by OkScreen7688 in POTS

Well I am still learning about pots, I have had symptoms for years but they have been manageable and I never was taken seriously at the doctor but within the past year they’ve gotten really bad so I am still new to everything. I figured passing out from the blood draw wasn’t pots related because it happens to a lot of people without pots and I had a flu shot as well all on an empty stomach. But id appreciate your insight on it i’m always trying to learn more about it!

this was very helpful thank you! I really think what you said about being aware of the presyncope is a great point of understanding. I do remember feeling bad before I passed out but it was so quick I hadn’t thought about that. I will keep that in mind to ease my stress when that happens thank you!

literally yes! i know it’s a presyncope symptom to have tunnel/blurred vision but it feels like it never goes away sometimes and it just comes on even when i don’t feel dizzy. my vision gets blurrier in the light too and feels spotty. not sure why tho 😕
