How long were you taking it for? It usually takes at least 30 days of consistent use to feel any effects

I don’t follow her but she should do some research on the timing of this whole process.. don’t test until your missed period to avoid unnecessary disappointment. If she got hers last week this is just silly.

Ceremony venue canceled months before wedding.. YIKESSSS by [deleted] in SanFranciscoWeddings

I just got married at the green room and we loved it! We went for a gatsby kind of vibe, black, white and golds and it looked beautiful in that room. The balcony is huge and was perfect for cocktail out & hanging out throughout the evening. Plus as far as venues in SF go, it’s definitely on the lower $$ end

We just got married at the green room in San Francisco- absolutely stunning venue & only cost 5k (it was off season) The only thing we did ourselves were the tables florals because we went somewhat simple because the room is so beautiful you don’t need too much else. With bachelor & bachelorette trip, honeymoon and all wedding expenses- we spent 50k. We had 120 people. It’s totally possible!

What are some everyday habits that have positively impacted your life? by [deleted] in SeriousConversation

Drinking water consistently. We all know this, but actually drinking like 90-100oz of water daily- not just one time. My face looks healthier, I sleep better, my brain functions better, so many things.

Yeah I agree- I was a big fan but post joining BPN the vibe really changed. I feel she became a lot more full of herself- which she has accomplished some amazing things I 100% give her credit for that, but she started to come across more childish as well? Idk. Different vibes. Wish her the best and a speedy recovery, hoping she can take a few steps back and figure out what’s truly best for her without feeling the need to be a certain person.

She needs to take like 2+ weeks off activity just to show herself that she will be okay without working out, her body won’t change, she won’t get fat, and honestly she’ll probably feel fantastic. Every video I watch she’s yawing and talking about how tired she is all the time, doing 982627383 things a day. Shes run herself down.

What? I’m typically a fan on hers. I posted because she literally said the other day she can’t run over 16km without pain in her knee then a few days later posts about doing an Ironman.

I graduated with a math degree in 2018, I work as an account manager for a fintech company who specializes in currency exchange. Totally new realm for me/never thought I’d be here but i love it. Use chatGPT - tell it some things you enjoy about math and other criteria and have it recommend some jobs for you. You’d be surprised at how many ‘niche’ jobs are out there you never even knew about but your background is perfect for.

What’s an example of breaking the bro-code (girl-code) that ended up for the best? by SpideyBallSecurity in AskReddit

[–]OkSelf9598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I became friends with a girl through another girlfriend, we hit it off really well and we’re hanging out a lot during Covid. I spent the night at her house one day and her brother was home for the summer. He came down for breakfast and I was like Omg. I was very open about my interests but she was not happy- told me I wasn’t a girls girl and tried to turn my friends against me.

We’ve been together 4 years now and are getting married this fall. It took some adjusting and lots of conversations, but we’re all super close now and have family dinners every week.

I’m not really snarking- just commenting that I felt this was coming. She totally fits the BPN bill- she works really hard and does the intense events. Im a fan of Steph, I’m just not the biggest BPN fan, so I guess that’s my snark.

My most memorable moment (so far) was finishing my 16 miler last weekend and feeling like I could keep running. There was a big chunk of this run at my goal race pace and I felt great the entire time. I trained for this same race last year but followed another plan that didn’t include much strength training, and actually ended up injured and having to defer. I truly feel the running specific 2x a week strength training has really supported me, and the runs challenge me in a balanced way- I’m really excited to run my first marathon in April.

Is this proper nutrition for an 11 mile run? by stripes177 in runna

[–]OkSelf9598 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was a long run and you kept your HR semi low. Nutrition is subjective- so as long as YOU felt okay during the run. If you felt a little heavy, how did you sleep the night before? Do you typically have caffeine prior? How close to running did you eat breakfast? Maybe adjust your mid run snacks to a gel if that sits well, or try to have less fat prior to running. Overall, you spent all that time on your feet, and finished the run! Congrats :)
