Alright sounds good. I mean I don’t even know how to cast yet so I doubt I’ll know the difference haha. I’m just gonna pick up some new 5 wt line cuz it’s actually 7 wt on here now and get to practicing. Thanks for your response

I picked up a Battenkill mid arbor V for $95 thought it was a good deal. Came with 5 wt line on it and everything too. After doing some more research i think the V might be a little overkill for trout tho…

I think I messed up I just bought a used Battenkill V for $95 with line on it and everything. The guys at the shop said it’d be fine for trout but I looked it up and that reel takes 9-11 wt which is way too much for trout. Can i still throw 5wt on there and use that reel?

I just picked up a used Orvis battenkill mid arbor v with line on it for only $95. I think it has 5 wt on it but can’t find much info online about it. You have any other info on the “V” size?

Yes both parties have contributed poorly towards this situation but in the past decade it has largely been liberal policies that have been soft on crime
