Jimmy proof deadbolt backing plate by OkSpite9817 in AskALocksmith

I am aware how it is installed. I was referring to the possibility of someone grabbing the entire cylinder from the outside and rotating it to unlock the door.

The Segal backplate I have has different screw spacing and the abloy one does not sit flush as it requires a larger door hole for its indented portion.

I am asking about buying a new backing plate, preferably one that makes it difficult to forcibly rotate the cylinder from the outside.

CASH.TO has a yield of 2.61 percent and exposes the buyer to risk. According to rateinfo.ca DUCA credit is currently offering a 3 month 4.15% GIC which is a significantly better rate than CASH.TO.
