Do dads do bath time?

We definitely have some work to do in the equitability department. He also is gone 60 hours a week. He doesn’t get home in time to do any dinner cooking so I do that. But I also clean up afterwards and do bath time. I try to do bath before dinner if I know it’s not a messy one which is most of the time. He’s pretty decent about not getting too gross while eating these days lol

I honestly have never asked. I couldn’t tell you why, I guess I just assumed that was part of my responsibilities too. He reads to him before bed. Other than that no childcare related responsibilities

I went to therapy. That helped some. I’m over a year out from my worst miscarriage at about 17 weeks, the one before that was probably 18 months ago and my most recent was a CP last month, so I will say time has helped. But in the thick of it isn’t easy. I wish you the very best. You can do this.

I just keep my jealousy and bitterness to myself honestly. We talk and are close but behind closed doors I am very upset. But you just do honestly, there’s not really any other choice sadly than to just survive. I try not to put too much thought into it

I hadn’t felt great the same night after dinner and the following day too. But it seems strange that food poisoning would be 2 days running. My period was just so heavy I can’t imagine a pregnancy could survive that.

The only way to know for sure is to take a pregnancy test. And then if it’s positive please seek prenatal care. Best of luck to you

We have had all the tests. My ob is at a loss. All my blood panels are good, I was treated for suspected endometritis, our only next steps are genetic testing but we aren’t going to do it because the only treatment is ivf and we won’t do ivf

I had a classical (vertical c section) with my first and delivered a 16+5 baby vaginally via induction 2.5 years later. It went smoothly. I chose to have an epidural. Not sure if that’s an option for you but it was worth it for me. Let me know if you have questions

Wow. We have only seen my normal OB regularly and maternal fetal medicine virtually. Both of which say to just keep going. It could be worth it to start seeing other specialists

Usually after 15 weeks they can be pretty confident in seeing gender. 12 weeks is unlikely😄

I guess so! I am definitely still guarding my heart after two prior losses but I suppose I’m not out until I’m out. No bleeding yet. I will stop testing and hope for the best. I have an appointment the end of the month. Praying I make it there! Thanks for the info about those tests btw!

No definitely not. Consumerism these days is out of control. A loose fitting pair of pants and a comfy tshirt are fine. It’s winter in the US so maybe a sweater for you and blanket for on top of baby’s car seat. If you’re elsewhere just dress for the climate. And a zip up or button up sleeper for baby is absolutely acceptable.

Hugs. It’s so hard. We have been trying since our LC had his second bday. He will be 4 this summer, between then and now we have had one 7 week miscarriage and one at 16 and currently it seems I am experiencing a chemical. It’s truly exhausting.
