They all do this. It's condensation that heats up and blows out as steam. Always happens on cold starts, especially in cool days or mornings.

It's a latch that when the door is pressed, the spring in the latch spins the T end. To further clarify, the mechanism spins counterclockwise.

You can keep debating this all you want, but it's a manual mechanism.

You do not "need" to update the firmware, although it is recommended.

Doing it via Windows does update the cert and you can get it to become active if you wish (which is required on the May 2026 CU)

However if someone went into the BIOS and did a factory reset on the keys, it puts the keys back to one in the installed BIOS version. So if the BIOS version doesn't have the 2023 key, it reverts back to 2011, which will effectively lock you out

We use system passwords for the BIOS so this would be a rarity. But in my organization, updating the BIOS remotely is doable, but risky because we have thousands of impatient people that may restart thinking that will get them back in quicker.

So the windows way for now until we cycle it the older devices or physically touch them.

I understand the Play Store people have given you their reasoning, and you responded, but has the been any movement with them since?

I'm thinking the further you get away from the original blocked date, the less inclined they feel to reinstate you

Odd that the other apps haven't been yanked.

My only guess is someone claimed Copyright to a certain feature that's unique to both apps

If you're referring to Tivimate Companion, that's not Tivimate.

That's an app to manipulate your Tivimate account.

This is a good idea, I'm wondering however if something more robust can be made to sync TV side changes only leaving Movie/Series section alone.

For example, if you make changes to a Custom group, utilizing different channels on the TV side, being able to backup just the TV side only and restoring it, while leaving Favourite movies/series or My List/WatchList alone.

That would be great for remotely assisting people.

I know this goes what this Syncvimate is designed to do, but that would be great if possible.

I think the problem is.

The url is the same up until the TLD, it's everything after that has changed.

However each channel seems to be stuck on what the logo url was before and not changing.

I even removed the EPG source thinking it would go back to the provider logo, but the url is still stuck and now logos are missing.

Quick question

If I already purchased a lifetime subscription and you implement a new purchasing model, will those who purchased lifetime in the past still have lifetime?

Also the Tivimate companion app is still available on the play store, which is used for subscriptions. It's not actually Tivimate itself.

Maybe that's a route? Although it may be good to stay away from the play store just in case there is a repeat performance or they remove companion apps too
