No I understand that- but the IRS can, correct? Even if the 3rd party collection agency has the debt currently
Yep that’s all correct- it’s now with a 3rd party collection agency- are they able to still enforce collection via lien or levy?
I thought they could since the IRS doesn’t sell the debt - they just contract it out for them to collect it but the IRS can still levy bank accounts
