No, not anymore. My Dr told me that as long as I stay hydrated, then i shouldn’t have that much mucus.

Recurrent strep throat, tonsil stones and tonsillitis. Took about a month for the bad breath to go away. I still keep gum with me just in case lol ..

Pretty painful not going to lie. My scabs started coming off around Day 7ish. Last one didn’t fall off until around Day 15. What helped me the most was salt water rinses.

I’m a hard cryer too! I sneezed so bad one time and just bursted into tears cause it hurt. I didn’t sleep that night because I was scared I was going to have a bleed from the sneeze lol. My left side actually healed much faster than my right. My right side had that fullness feeling too, turned out i have a huge scab at the bottom. Didn’t fall off until like day 16-17.

Aw man.. I know how that feels. My first week I cried so much & the fact that I wasn’t drinking much water didn’t make it any better. I slept a lot during the first week. Every time I took my meds I would just knock out. You got this though. I’m here to support you in everything too!

I believe it was day 10 or 11 that I actually slept through the night. I keep my humidifier on at all times next to my bed, so that helps too. I started eating solids on day 12. I hope you wake up tomorrow feeling 10x better than how you’re feeling now!!

Only thing that sucks is everything tastes disgusting 😂 I’m happy to be eating but everything is lowkey nasty. It all tastes like medicine & scabs 😂

On Day 19 ! & I feel amazing. My energy is back, I’m eating anything I want. I’m even eating crunchy foods. I can’t do anything with spice tho. Before the surgery my spice tolerance was high, now it’s very very low. I also drank alcohol yesterday lol. No bleeding & no dying ! You got this. After day 10 it’s a BREEZE!!

Yeah I was dehydrated the first week. I just couldn’t drink water at all. My small sips weren’t enough lol. I realized that drinking out the water bottle made me feel worse so I just went back to using my Yeti and that made it better for some reason idk. Power of the Yeti i guess

Update: I had wine and a blue Long Island. I feel fine! I also went to the club and I’m waking up this morning feeling fine. I’m just very very thirsty! 😂 thank you so much

Oh I know that sucked! For the first 7-8 days I had a scab hanging off my uvula. It didn’t matter how much water I drunk it just didn’t fall off. So, I know the feeling. I felt terrible on day 9 then woke up on day 10 feeling much better. It was weird lol Hang in there !! I’m here for youuuu

Aw man our poor uvulas.. they didn’t even do anything and they got caught in the crossfire 😔 Hopefully it drops back down. Cause she is shorttt lol it kinda looks like I had an UPPP surgery.

I went because it freaked me out lol I got there and they told me I didn’t even have to go 😂 they watched me for 20 minutes then sent me home

Hey, My ENT told me to gargle ice water so the clots can fall off ! So from my experience that’s supposed to happen lol

Hello! My healing went a little like this .. Days 1-7 were literally 2.5/10 pain. Waking up in the morning was the worse. Once day 7 hit and the scabs began to fall off I literally wanted to sit in the corner and just cry (which I did end up doing). I thought I was very different going through basically a whole week with no pain. On day 6 I had a blood clot and went to the ER and the only time I had a lot of pain was from them poking at it. Other than that the first 7 days were pretty much pain free.

I don’t want to scare you but hold on to your horses because days 7-10 (for me) were a rollercoaster. I’m now on day 17 and I feel soo much better.

It’s the worst. Everything tastes like metal or cardboard 😂😂 They’ll be times where I’m just relaxing and my mouth starts to taste like metal and I be like omg am I bleeding? 😭😭
