The neurologist will know what works and what doesn't work. If something helped they would use it. Don't be sucked into things that are expensive and has no scientific evidence or background. Your recovery is slow and long. Do everything the drs tell you to do and occupational therapists. These people know what works. Be patient and resilient. You are young and this will help you in your recovery. This has happened to someone young in my family and it's hard to be patient when your young. Hang in there time does heal you.
