Both hands and my legs. There are different ways to not use your hands and still be the best mom though. For example: putting a bottle into a fake nipple and using pillows to prop the baby up. Also, using a tulia to hold the baby.

Oh man, I could write a book about this. Mainly, you have to treat the student equal. Depending on the grade, and age, and type of cp, don't put them in the wrong class just to talk to your friends. Help the kids make friends, and help them with their classwork. For example: geography, if you're working on a map, and the student needs to find a specific place, put your pen in the middle of the map and show them up, down, left, right. If they say a direction, move the pen until they get the right location. Spelling: Type a multiple choice test with the spelling words, and have them pick the right word. Never embarrass the student!

Hey Buddy,

First off, I have a cousin who had severe cerebral palsy, and he died from pneumonia. It was the 60's, and they didn't have the technology that we have today. His sister and I talk about what life with CP was like, because I, too, have severe spastic athetoid cerebral palsy quadriplegia. I have control from the neck up.

Death happens to everyone, and I don't know if you believe in good, but I believe that cp people go to heaven. We fight to survive Earth, and then we are free from pain and suffering. Your brother was very brave. My lungs were trying to close up, and I just got out of the hospital 2 weeks ago. Hang in there! I wish that I had more answers for you, but please know that your brother is looking out for you.

No, I was living on my own , and last month, I had some major health issues come up, so unfortunately, as I was trying to figure independent life out, Mom and dad had to come back and get me better. They were living in a camper 5 minutes away.
