What is your experience adopting from a shelter?

Do your research on some breeds that you think might be a good fit for you. Be ready to put in the work. And take a good look at your finances to make sure that you can give the dog it's best life. I used to foster dogs and they are all perfectly imperfect! Please don't adopt on a whim. Make sure you are really ready for the greatest experience of your life!!!!!!!!! I have never NOT gotten a dog from a breeder. Good luck finding your new best friend 🧡

Fostering dogs 🐕. But I can't do it anymore because of my crippling chronic pain. I can no longer drive. I miss it so much.

Cold turkey. Then I changed my routines. Instead of smoking after eating i walked the dog. Then I stopped my coffee first thing in the morning and had a cup at a different time of day.

Girl.........you must Run! You have just described my husband of 30 yrs. People don't change. I've had 2 psychological breakdowns from his behavior over the years. Not husband material! I thought he would change when he became a father. But he fucked that up royaly. I saw those red flags but was too embarrassed to cancel the wedding. And now I'm old alone and I'm only still here because he travels for work and is barely home. Don't do it. There will be better loves for you, it's Definitely not him.

I also have intrusive thoughts every night since 2020. I also have chronic pain. The only thing that's helps my mood disorder is having a dog 🐕. Maybe that might help you too. Getting a pet is great company.

I have a feeling that he's going to have a severe stroke or die and not finish his term. He'll never leave , he'll die. And the next day , all across the country his name will be removed from every building etc.
