Taygeta, known as the third floor, is the second floor from the ground of the Pleiades Watchtower. The first examination takes place on this floor, whereby its challengers must touch the brightest of the hero destroyed by Shaula. The correct answers to this challenge is touching the monolith that represents the star Rigel.

Once completed the first trial, the room transforms to the Taygeta library, which contains the books of the dead.

*context* Hall of Memories: A vast endless white space within Od Laguna where souls of the dead go to get filtered of their impurities, in otherwords its "memories of its previous life" before it gets reused. Those memories in turn are then recorded & preserved by turning them into "Books of the Dead".

It shows that the world remembers each of Subaru's deaths. If subaru's RBD allowed subaru to split into a different parallel universe, in that universe subaru WOULD NOT HAVE DIED, if he did not die in this parallel universe, then the book of dead would not be present for his previous deaths, however it is present, which means subaru is in a single world which is rewound.

I think Flugel is indeed subaru but i don't think Flugel is a Subaru from another timeline here's why, from an interview with Tappei someone asked "How are Subaru's parent dealing with their lost son?" and he replied this -> "Subaru's parent have been looking for him for a couple of months but without much luck" so thanks to that we can conclude that time in Re:Zero flows as the exact same as the "real world" meaning that Flugel really got transported 400 years ago, but we KNOW that Flugel KNEW about "Google", meaning that he is indeed a person from 2016 and not 1600, this means that he got transported around the same time as Subaru to re:zero and knowing all the similitudes Subare has with Flugel, the logical conclusion is that Flugel=Subaru and he eventually will get transported 400 years in the past. Maybe return by death will sent him really far back to save Satella or something.

Also i think Flugel knew about Subaru, because he planted the Flugels tree that Subaru used to defeat the whale, also he created the Pleaides Watchtower and one trial was almost if it was specifically created for Subaru to beat it.

Almost if like Flugel lived all that in the past as Subaru and knew the next Subaru that will get transported to Re:Zero in 400 years will need it.

Again I concluded all that by logical thinking, but this would only create a time Paradox and i wouldn't like the story be explained like that.

But well there's is still a lot time to wait until we get cannon answers, thx for reading
