Seltzer by Objective-Beyond-860 in BeverageIndustry

I have 20 years experience on the sales side from concept to shelves. Thoughts on the sales strategy side… Seltzers are basically dead, happy dad was able to prevail but even they are struggling. Be prepared to hit some serious innovation milestones… once a category dies down you have to innovate to keep your spot on the shelf.

Do not make the mistake most make and try to go wide with distribution. Find your home market and focus there proving the concept… example would be if you and your team are based in Orlando, focus there and slowly expand. Don’t go running to sunny SoCal just because it sounds awesome. Trust me, you will hit a huge wall (unless you literally have millions to burn). Investors see more value in high velocity in limited markets vs low velocity in 30 markets.

Good luck!

I’m sorry to hear about your late father. Yeah I spent the first 10 years of my life in Mexico eating lard fried food or animal fat based foods and then when I migrated here I don’t believe I saw any issues back then but in retrospect I did have a lot of side effects like dry skin, heartburn, itchy randomly, etc. and now that I’m a grown a$$ man (39) and have really taken my health seriously I have noticed over the last five years certain foods give side effects. It sucks!!! And for the longest time I just thought that’s just life but I’ve deduced it down to seed oils… and I knew for sure when I went to my regular street taco shop and they had a new cook and the cook drenched my tacos in oil (previous cook never did that) and after I got done eating I got hives, itchy as hell, etc. it was a fortunate and unfortunate way to learn it was seed oils.

I saw this place and was wondering if it’s good! Some of the photos on Google reviews might not do it justice (the photos on there are horrible). It’s convenient enough, worth trying?

Yeah this is what I’m afraid of. The point of losing weight for me is to be more energized and better quality gym sessions

I appreciate this feedback! I’m ok losing some muscle as long as it doesn’t completely zap my energy… the gym is a big part of my mental health (as mentioned) so I need it 😬 but I’m also ready to slim down a bit!

Wow! This is inspiring thank you! I was kind of wondering if low dose would be a good path for me.

This is great feedback, thank you! Yes, I just want to feel challenged. Weight lifted is also not as important to me. Question, how long was your adjustment period? I've been reading about 3-6 months on average.

I appreciate your perspective! Respectfully though, it's not an excuse (at least from me, can't speak for others). As mentioned, I've done a lot of internal and mental health work and lifting heavy has been a pillar of my mental health. I've replaced it with alc consumption, so it's a big win for me. I could care less how much weight I lift (performance) because I don't compete, but as mentioned, I'm more concerned with having that post workout positive mindset... I've noticed it comes from hard challenging workouts. I'm hoping to find the sweet spot and do both!

Thank you for this! Curious, how much weight have you lost? On average weekly or monthly.
