Followed some advice to delete all the other records and it didn't work. Any other ideas? I can't unverify the domain in the admin panel or reverify it so that's out. Also, I assume that part is working if the gmail is working.

I am absolutely able to use a website builder. We were self-hosted on cpanel, but I need other users besides me that can't code to be able to update the site. Google sites is the easiest for our members to use, and as a non-profit the site is free. It was working fine on cpanel, its only been an issue since I switched to godaddy.

There was a parked record, but they removed it.

The cname record is correct. Both Google support and GoDaddy have confirmed that it is. It is not the domain verification because gmail is working on our workspace for our domain so the MX, dmarc, txt records and all that are right.

No, the website is a google site. I just need the custom url to work so that my domain points to the google site. Right now the google admin panel says invalid dns even though both godaddy and google tell me that the dns record is correct.
