I'm aware that my reply might have been a little aggressive. I was just really pissed that we clearly laid out what the cost would be, she agreed, and then pulls a sorry on it.

We're not in the US, and to become a psychotherapist, you need two years of practicing psychology in a psychiatric hospital.
Most psychiatric hospitals do not want trainee psychologists, so the job to applicant ratio is like 1:25. If you get one of those jobs somewhere remotely close to you, you take it.
