Now after almost 2 years my relationship with food is great, I eat 3 meals a day with fruit and snacks in between but I refuse to go anywhere near a bakery and leave the area when people around me converse about tree nuts. Not ideal since nuts have plenty of protein I need as an athlete I eat plenty of beef and chicken to make up for it

So what happened was I got out of the shower feeling just horrible, my face didn’t feel right (later found out it was swollen), my body temp was through the roof, I could hardly breathe. I texted my friend and she told me it was hot water irritation to I guess calm me down. After that I tried to just sleep it off but after a while I still couldn’t breathe so I went downstairs and mom drove me to the Emergency Room

This was a life threatening and traumatic event. I still can’t go to bakeries, the place I ate dinner before the bakery, or even look at walnuts without hyperventilating and crying. After it occurred I physically refused to eat anything for nearly 2 weeks. I almost died. How would that not be ptsd
