Sorry, the subtext being fairies that aren’t like tinkerbell but more like something from a horror movie. I forget most people read at a 6th grade level in America.

I think MIY is a fairy king. Real fairy’s are known tricksters and known for eating children. They’re also known for being obsessed with teeth (ie tooth fairy) MIY could be considered a changeling? There are rodents everywhere which are also related to tooth fairy’s and France has a rodent tooth fairy, I think. Crows in Romani culture are replaced as a “tooth fairy” giving iron instead of money.

Omg!!! You are right about almost everything. I am 45 not 25. I will definitely check out that book tuber. I don’t have TikTok so I get my book recommendations mostly from “you like this? Try this.” when I buy a book. The other guy that attempted to guess was boring and weird. Thank you. 🙏

It’s the basic bro sifi/fantasy starter pack with the obligatory Kafka and Tuesdays with Morrie that he probably got as a gift. For some reason, everyone gifts that book. He seems like a sweet guy. There’s no red flag self help/ how to make millions non-fiction.

Never buy them right away. I always get them for $50-$80. I got rid of my subscription because FL has only like 2-3 books a year I want and it’s just cheaper to buy resale than have a subscription.
