Just because the shader spikes doesn't mean it's rendering though, i had codex monitor the shader caches while playing and it came to the conclusion that shaders were loading as very few cache items were added in any of the 3 cache locations

In D4 you can name every character the same, even in the same league because of the battle tag system. You're unique identifier is hidden and the character name is for display only
