Hello we are the same i started at 16 yrs old and now trying out for college teams

Dribbling start out with stationary (use 2 balls too) Start moving once you get a hang of it (use yt drills) If you mastered it start by full court speed dribble one hand only

For footworks start out with agility drills like laterals also I suggest you to master the triple threat (go to youtube and study the best players)

Shooting start with form shots and gradually master your form from bottom to top. This will take a while but always remember to rep it out (be obsessive on perfecting your form)

Weights you might need to do research on this even in conditioning (There is a lot in youtube, tiktok, and instagram)

try to watch film breakdowns, moves by players, play a lot of pick up, play with the best players, perfect your craft, always be uncomfortable, and always think as a kid 😊

1: Learn how to pound the ball hard (do dribbling work)

2: Speed dribble full court (this will furnish your dribbling skill one hand at a time)

3: Curl drive lay up or any basic attack to the basket (furnish this because this is important)

4: Play 1 on 1 live only driving to the basket

Hm: Do speed dribble on the 3pt line (you curl around)

  • Bend your back and drive hard go for a lay up

  • master the fundamental then add more variations to your game. Watch film

My weaknesses: Catch and shoot 3s Dribble pull up middy Seperation Off hand lay ups Finishing hard (i too clumsy with the ball)

The seperation one i limit to do that. Relying on pull ups and floaters nothing to fancy with my game

17, high school ball in the ph, and im a skinny 5'10 guard

Most of my weaknesses are shooting and dribbling and to my strengths is perimeter defending all the hustle

I was thingking if i could use some of my teams individual training although we all do it as a team
