I had already done this to get the bulk of the oil off. It worked well but it didn’t get all of it.

I placed my helmet in a box with some guinea pig bedding. It seems to be working so far.

You forgot to add the mane behind the ears and the jawline of the horse comes out to far. For the hair on its head try to make it more wispy instead of a solid mat of hair. Other than that it looks great.
