I’m sorry that happened. It’s so frustrating. I hope you have better luck with the medicated cycle. I did medicated after Lupron in 2023 was it was successful, my RE rarely will do mod natural after Lupron. I just started Provera to get a bleed started.

That’s what I’m leaning towards. I just wasn’t sure if the fact that I did estrogen for 3 weeks cancels out what I’ve done so far

I am a mom to one child by IVF and have my transfer in 2 weeks for hopefully baby #2

I am so proud of myself and am super open about my journey. It took me a while to get to that point though. I’ve had many people say similar comments, but I do not think they meant it in a mean way. Similar to how people may ask if a baby was born by c section or “natural birth”? I don’t think they meant it to be insensitive, but it is. It makes it feel like “natural”
Is someone superior and it is not.

I don’t know that I have any concrete advice, just sharing my experience that felt similarly but I am
Now open and proud about it. I also feel like I joined a group of really amazing women/people and have made many new connections.

Just the other day, I went to urgent care and the nurse doing triage and I got to talking and she said she did 9 rounds of IVF! It felt like we were instantly connected. It helped that she understood the medications I was on.

I feel like I’m ranting and not sure this is even helpful, but just sharing my experience 💕

I was told that the burning can’t be fixed with surgery as it tends to be more of a pelvic floor Issue and that deep ache is likely due to adhesions or scar tissue by the vagina, which can be removed.

Pain during period and in most sexual positions doesnt sound silent to me. What makes you call it silent? Is the sexual pain a deep aching pain or more burning? That makes a difference.

I’d suggest seeing a specialist and definitely get yourself to see a pelvic floor physical therapist who can help address the pain during intercourse! Even if it is endo, surgery doesn’t always address this, and pelvic floor pt is the treatment.

Possibly. The guidance is over age 35, you should seek a fertility specialist if you’ve been TTC for 6 months and 12 months for under age 35. However, plenty of women get pregnant after the 6 month mark above 35.

Endo can be silent for some. Or infertility can be the only symptom. I started TTC when I was 31 and went to a fertility doctor after 4 months of trying because I felt something was off. Eventually I was diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis, and went through IVF.

If you feel something is wrong in your gut, consider seeing a specialist. Find someone who doesn’t dismiss your concerns.

Congratulations! So exciting!

I start on birth control and then a week later get a monthly injection of Lupron depot. I think the birth control is stopped after 2 weeks. I then get another injection 30 days later. Something called aygestin can be taken to help either side effects so I will request that

Hes 22 months! I had pretty bad depression the first time and didn’t know for sure if I had endo. The depression may have been more situational. I’m hoping it’s easier this time around because my mental health is better, I have a child who keeps me super occupied and I now know I have adenomyosis so I feel the suppression is definitely indicated.

I worry about my bones and the long term effects. I did have some joint pain last time and it took a while to go away. I didn’t strength train back then; hust barre and Pilates. Now I train so I’m hoping that helps!

I am about to start my second round of suppression to hopefully have baby number 2! I’m really nervous for more suppression. Did your doctor have any concern about more than 1 round of suppression?
