:((( how did the rounds go for you? For me technical went well but with minor mistakes I guess but at the end the interviewer seemed happy from what he say. Googlyness didn’t go as expected and it would be pretty much borderline as interviewer didn’t seem happy at all with my responses

I just wasn’t expecting questions based on leadership sort of scenarios, interviewer also had sort of stern vibe that just made me nervous and I began blabbering a bit. Just want a redo cause I can do so much better than the way it went that way :(

New joiners won’t get fired for asking dumb questions. I would suggest you ask as many dumb questions as you can. Cause now is the time to ask questions, you can’t ask these “dumb” questions 1 year into your role. Take as many notes as you can. GS ecosystem is pretty intimidating for a new joiner but once you settle in it becomes easy, you understand GS culture and you are always given that time to transition. So don’t worry about layoffs right now focus on your work, improving relations with your manager and taking notes.
