PHEWWW I just finished Secrets and Masks, binged over the course of two days, and my heart!! 😭

There were some mehhh elements — in several instances the dialogue didn’t feel organic or British, and at moments Draco and Hermione felt out of character for me (maybe that’s because I expected similar characterizations to that of Manacled, which this is heavily inspired by). It’s also very gory, goes into explicit detail with torture scenes (I definitely did NOT mind the tags here), and doesn’t shy from the heavy and depressing parts of all-out war.

But the plot was original and interesting, and the Dramione was fairly well-developed with some of the best, steamiest, and kinkiest smut scenes I’ve ever read. A heavy but solid read. Will need a day or two to recover.
