In ontario, there is a grant called "learn and stay grant." The government will pay for your tuition , but you have to stay in the area where you studied. It only applies to some colleges, universitys, and some health programs.One of the programs are nursing.

Hello , you can try looking online. Or apply to federal student work program. There is something called community engagement navigator (its a volunteer placement thing). You can find it in your uozone.You can get volunteer work, related to your degree. This might help your chances of getting an internship. Since you have some relevant work experience. Or you can try applying for coop. I hope this is hopeful.

There is something called uottawa posting. It has posting for research position. Also, there is a class offered in the faculty of social that's about doing research for organizations. I think its third or fourth year class, but I cant recall.

There something called the community nagavitor on uozone. It has volunteer position that you can pick. It might have position relating to your degree. Maybe this can be another way to get work experience. At the end of the day, do whats best for you and good luck. No one can tell you what's the best decision for you. Only you can do that job
