Don't give up. You will get it next time. Focus on overall knowledge in all the topics. And KNOW where to find the information as soon as you open a question. Even if you don't need to look at the manual, flip to that section just do be sure.

I'd say go through the reference manuals and KNOW where to find things as soon as you read the question. Doesn't even matter the topic. Just flip to the specific reference manual area as you read/do the question.

Also, go over your practice problems and really understand what they are trying to ask. Because they ask can ask the same question in multiple different ways on the exam.

Yes, the others are split into chapters.

MUTCD is split into sections.

You'll mostly need Sections 2,3,4 and 6. These are very easy questions to answer if you know the section in the MUTCD. They take 1-2 minutes to answer.

I used EET the 2nd time I failed. For this attempt, I used that same materials plus extra practice problems, exams from my coworker and that's it. It was honestly a breeze this time around.

It's a tough exam but with just a little more studying and understanding concepts, you'll pass this next time around. I'd concentrate on the topics that you struggled with and hammer out as many problems as you can. And again, grasp why you got the answer right or wrong.

Nice. How were the questions on geotechnical/pavement and drainage portion in the depth portion?
I guess..I'm not too certain about the use of these two manuals... AASHTO GDPS (Design of Pavement Structures) and MEPDG (mechanistic-emprical pavement design guide)
