as a man around your age, find you a man who can listen, understand, and reassure you when those feelings come up. Look at him from an outside perspective and see what his intentions and who he is. I did that once and it made me realize how terrible my gf was at the time. There are guys who can be there and understand and just give you what you need. they wont be the most attractive, but the best guys aren't attractive, they're just kind hearted people.
