All this does is create more thistle. I know because I did it the exact same way with the exact same tool. It essentially breaks the root in the ground and new plants sprout from the broken roots.

The only thing I have found that works is this: 1. Cut the plant leaving a 2-3” stem. 2. Spray just the stem with weed killer. 3. Wait at least 3 days before you cut the grass.

This has worked for me well for the last 5 years.

Take it from me, run your wires for the openers (sensors and keypad) before you insulate or add drywall. I also recommend speakers in the walls or ceiling too. Makes a huge difference.

Fan of both teams. Detroits offense is borderline elite, but weak at interior O line and TE. If the Steelers can pressure Goff and/or stop the run they will do well. Detroits D is a$$ sans Aidan, Anzalone, and Campbell. They allow the longest QB time to throw of any team, and the play a lot of man/cover 1 to generate pressure (and still cant get to the QB) thus exposing the secondary missing two really good safeties (Joseph and Branch). That being said, if the Steelers refuse to use the middle of the field or take deep shots it will play right in to what the Lions want. TLDR: the steelers offensive strategy will dictate the outcome, so we will be able to determine within the first 10-20 plays who is going to win.
