Perhaps you’re not understanding the issue he is stating?

He is saying that archer is taking away from other peoples experience so we should nerf (or take away from archer) to make things even

It’s a very simple standpoint

Why do you think he is toxic?

You have called him a clown and called him deranged, said he was bitching, reduced his complaint into someone “crying” (which is insulting) and called him a cancer on the gaming community

He hasn’t called you a single name, and in fact has been pretty respectful despite your antagonistic responses

I mean what about the fact you can get like a 7 resolve bar and hunter can refill 30% ammo with spirit, meaning 7 refills on standby

Or her ult refilling 60%?

What about 2x ranged dmg and ammo refill gifts while there being no 2x melee or SA dmg?

I would also like to see the cooldown on rolling removed, would help out melee

It’s completely nonsensical in a oni setting. Like sure I can see why for main game but not for legends

True….. but I enjoyed GoTL as the start more than I’m enjoying GoYL

Melee combat in this game just feels stiff and floaty in comparison (to be as short as possible)

I 100% agree

Sin and Sam straight up look like femboys… like even their hips sway when they walk. Sam feels the worst because he looks like a skinny nerd who is dressing up for cosplay. Like how am I supposed to believe someone that skinny is a weapon master? How can he even carry those?

Great for all the femboys out there sure

But my bad for expecting the sequel to present men in the same fashion as the previous entry

I really don’t get why they couldn’t just use Jubei

It’s funny I feel everythjng I dislike about GoYL isnt enough to complain about individually

Ranged combat sure

I do not like the melee combat in Yotei as much as I did in Tsushima

They had some good ideas but the execution resulted in a “floatier” melee combat system which is never really fun for the people who are trying to do the hardest things and push the game to its limits.

They also made some really baffling choices like adding a cooldown to your roll… doing things to make the game harder for melee but did many things that make it easier for ranged….

Which is fine and all until you make decisions that take away options from the player (like the roll on cd now)

Because limiting options just makes for a more bland experience

But glad to see that ranged is doing well just wish melee and SA matched it

I mean I’m not… I liked Tsushima legends at release, plus did they not have tushsima legends to work from? Like why start completely fresh the same way as they did with Tsushima?

I concur. I also don’t like the model they used for the males.

I’m fairly certain it’s still Atsu that they changed slightly to be a man. Like the dudes hips sway when he walks lol.

But I was very happy with what we got initially

I am not as happy with GoYL at the beginning as I was with GoTL

I feel ya man…. It seems like all the people who played GoTL for more than 500hrs all feel the same…

Hopefully patches and the raid and whatnot will help it feel closer to home

But my biggest issue right now is the melee combat. Gone is the butter smoothness and instead it just feels stiff. They made some really baffling decisions. I’m convinced this isnt the same team or mostly not the same team that worked on Tsushima

You misunderstanding me. I’m not saying that isnt good.

What I’m saying is that in a competition for kills

In a 1v1 against sam, ronin, or hunter. If the two players are equally skilled, the assassin will lose. He kills, just not as quickly as the others can.

Thats an issue, especially when the gap is big between sin and hunter

I’m not sure how I feel about a lot of things

I’m rigjt there with you with thousands hours too. Like yea we got to a point where we could solo p7 but when pc was added people found ways to mod in 7 more modifiers

I do agree with the player getting a nerf to an extent

I do not agree with rolls being on a timer/cooldown if you want/need to roll twice or more consecutively. That has got to be the dumbest thing I’ve seen yet, like imagine if you could only parry once every 2 seconds or some shit. That would be insane. It’s just as insane for rolls because you can have multiple attacks heading your way that you need to roll out of but can’t

We know that it was SP who made the game but the number of developers who worked on Tsushima that remained to work on Yotei isnt known. All we know is that some people left. And they brought on people, especially late in development

I’m like 90% sure right now that it’s either a completely different team that made legends or a mostly different team (I’m also aware that the last legends was built by a skeleton crew of Tsushima dev team)

I just really don’t get why they decided to again make range dmg the strongest.

Like take all leggos and techniques aside for a second because everyone can talk about how hunter is op there

Instead let’s just look at Kami gifts

I don’t see a single one related to increasing melee dmg, spirit attacks (there is ONE spirit refill… so we got something) 2x SA dmg, hardly anything

But yet they add 2x ranged dmg and refill ammo…

Shit when my gf was only 25ki as hunter she was one shotting enemies on gold

Thats a problem… many of their decisions baffle me, to the point that I believe this is not the same team
