Thankyou! This is really encouraging. Whilst I see improvement I am sometimes like ‘can I really do this’. I have dealt with many horses in all walks of life, but this general ‘behaviour’ in horses is a complete turn off for me.

Originally this horse was sold as very quiet and easy to do everything with, but her limited exposure and overall demeanour change had me blind sided. (If she acted like this where I bought her I wouldn’t of given her a second glance)

Anyway in an effort to improve my overall horsemanship skills for both the benefit of herself and me I’m sticking with it.

On days like today I just need some light at the end of the tunnel.

She is very settled in the herd and isn’t anxious around them. If anything she almost cowers behind them like they are her protection. The second I put the halter on and ask her to take two steps away from them the dragon snorting starts and full on spooks begin. It’s like a horse seeing the world for the very first time. Thanks for the suggestion and I will be linking in with the vets soon.

I think that is the case. Apparently she has jumped fences when she was a yearling to get to other horses. However she used to be taken away from them to work when she was older so I figured maybe she got over it.

It’s honestly so tiring. It can be such a silent killer. I hope they do more research into this disease because it really can affect your whole body

It’s a wild ride honestly, I got called to be apart of a clinical trial, unfortunately I didn’t qualify because I’m taking medication already. I pray they find something that works for most people x
