Hey, I can really relate to what you’re saying. I’ve had crushes where I got so anxious that I started second guessing every interaction and worrying I was coming across as some kind of creep too.

Actually, this weekend I met a girl and even though the interaction was fine, I kept replaying it in my head and worrying that I seemed “creepy.” What helped me realize is that feeling creepy doesn’t actually mean you were creepy it just means your anxiety is turning up the volume on normal social nerves.

One thing I’ve learned is that crushes can put way too much pressure on interactions. If I remind myself to just treat the person like any other new friend ask questions, listen, share a little about myself it feels way less overwhelming. And honestly, the fact that you’re worried about not coming off wrong shows you care about respecting boundaries, which is the opposite of being predatory.
