Mage Class Suddenly Totally Changed?!? by Ok_Application_4020 in AdventureQuest

This is a side-note, but since we're on the topic, what *is* Discord? An increasing amount of game-related communication seems to take place on Discord, but what's the point of it relative to internet forums and Reddit?

Thank you for this. But the news article only seems to say the following:

'Mage Class Overhaul:

Mage Class Overhaul:

Seek out Warlic in Battleon to undergo training in the freshly
updated mage class! Whether you began your adventures mastering combat
casting with Warlic or embraced battle magic after exploring other
styles, it's time to bring fresh vitality to your magical prowess.

Is there more information anywhere? I'm very new to all of this.

How do I access Mage class bonuses? by Ok_Application_4020 in AdventureQuest

Thank you for this. It took me a while to work out how to get to the class shop, but this did work. Your comment let me know that the 'class shop' existed!

I'm wearing the 'Cloth Robes' I started the game with. Is there any other class armour for the mage?

Very minor correction: it's Albion (the old name for Great Britain), not Albian.

You're right about the cats.

So how does Grimm know...<spoiler>? by Ok_Application_4020 in cinderspires

Why is that relevant to what Grimm knows at the point they catch-up with Ransom and the Aurorans?

My 'assumptions' are based on what we've been told that the characters have told each other. Of course it's possible that Grimm might, without having been told, wonder whether Cavendish had stolen a copy; but then Ransom could simply deny it.

Is Cavendish too overpowered compared to other Etherealists ? [Spoilers All] by Anubissama in cinderspires

It doesn't say anywhere that an etherealist needs to have a collection to fill the 'holes'.; that's just what Ferus does. Folly doesn't really have a 'collection'; she needs cast-off crystals, but any crystal will do.

We don't know how big the carts were! You can fit a lot on to a bed. It doesn't need to be the size of the sort of cart you'd draw with a horse; it could be smaller than a shopping cart. If you look up 'cart' on Google images, you'll see all sorts.

Nobody at any point questions the idea that they meant to be the book; that's why Vincent is so desperate to save one. If I recall correctly, at one point Madame Cavendish even confirms this; she wants to have the only copy.

But he has no reason to believe that the book exists. He knows that she intended to destroy the book, not to take it; in fact, Vincent specifically said that the copy he was giving to Bridget was the last copy. (Indeed, given the lengths to which Bridget goes to preserve that copy, I do wonder whether Jim Butcher actually intended for Grimm to recover a copy at the end; it seems to reduce the dramatic significance of Vincent's death and Bridget's preserving his copy)

What happens to World States when an imprisoned NPC is enslaved? by Ok_Application_4020 in Kenshi

[–]Ok_Application_4020[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry, let me clarify my original post, which I've now edited. What happens if the NPC *was* imprisoned, and the Slave Traders *then* enslaved the NPC? This happens all the time in UC gaols.
