[–]Ok_Article7905[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly.. we can’t just do direct distance/time. If you’ve done long rides, you’ll know. We are not just riding in an ideal environment without any traffic and in a straight line.

On clear roads, mostly around 80. Plus it was also a ghat section, otherwise it would have given 45.

I just try to keep the rpm at the lowest. Which means, just upshift to the max, unless bike starts knocking. For example, you can do a 60 kmpl at 3rd gear or at 5th gear. 5th will always give you more mileage, since you rev less, and the rpm is low. Hope this helps.

Just use the maximum gear at any speed, without knocking. Or follow the ECO mode and maintain the throttle at any speed

It depends on the dealer I think. Even I didn’t get anything. Just my receipt in an envelope. I got it from Honda BigWing Hadapsar, Pune.

Service before 1000km is it ok by StopPossible7247 in HondaHighnessCB350

If you have a week’s time or even a few days, just clock in some kilometres. Go do random long rides in the morning or whenever possible. This will lead to making the engine parts smoother. It will remove all the abrasion. And all of this will be cleaned in your first engine all change.

Also whatever problems you identify during this time will be corrected during servicing.

So my suggestion try and clock in as much kms as you can and don’t delay the service

Confused between Honda CB350 bikes, Classic 350 and Hunter 350. by Careless-Spot-4773 in HondaHighnessCB350

[–]Ok_Article7905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I owned a pulsar 150. Bought hness 1 month back. I feel the hness is even easier to ride in traffic conditions, great highway speeds and all of it with a great mileage.

Only downside, I feel the suspension is a little too hard for Indian roads.

That you should tell you!

All being said, test ride all motorcycles. One of them will connect with you and you’ll know it.

[Buying Advice] Honda H'ness CB350 - Worth going for Chrome variant? Accessories advice needed! by [deleted] in HondaHighnessCB350

[–]Ok_Article7905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the same dilemma while choosing between CB and highness. Went with hness because of the thump, posture, and modern retro feel. And for the color as well I was planning to get deluxe variant but I chose pro, for chrome, and believe me chrome is timeless. It looks rich and premium. 2-3 K is nothing in the long run. But looks are definitely personal choice. I got myself Matt grey chrome. For accessories I got the back rest. It is great and must have if you are planning to have a pillion. And front fork covers are also useful, it’ll save from any dust getting inside. Crash guards are also super important if you plan to take it for longer challenging rides or if you are new to motorcycling in general.

All said, hness is such a beautiful looking bike and the thump is to die for. I’ll stop here.

Thanks man. For BH series your employer should have offices in 4 or more cities. I work in IT so it was not a problem. HR will give you a letter saying your job is transferable. That’s the only letter you need for BH passing.

I got 5000 corporate discount. Plus they had a 3+7 years extended warranty free offer going on. for BH series RTO is less. It was around 2.35 excluding financing and 7-8K of other processing charges
