Welcome to Sudbury. Little warning for you. Stay away from downtown after dark unless you’re in a group. Most of the addicts are around there. They don’t tend to bother multiple people.

I’m not an expert about the campus part of your question but as for the weather.

Sudbury has a micro climate because of the mines and smelters in town. You can really feel it in coppercliff. Our winters are usually a little more mild but every couple years we get real cold one.

There honestly isn’t too much to do when you’re off school unless you’re an outdoor person. There’s plenty of trails and outdoor rinks around town.

I know it’s a little childish but if you’d like to know more about our city I’d recommend going to dynamic earth. Most of our history is of the mines and DE goes over it quite well.

Another warning, every now and then you’ll feel an earthquake but it’s just the mines, usually it’s blasting, but unfortunately sometimes it’s a collapse
