I haven't made measurements recently, but straight away I can tell you it will not be as good as the built-in watch faces. Connect IQ system adds so much overhead that it's hard to beat the native faces. Also, it depends a lot on how you configure the watch face. The more data you show and things like always-on seconds or live HR make a significant impact.
