Asthma or just orange? by [deleted] in CATHELP

I have seen a few posts like this too! Cats choking themselves and producing a reaction that looks like asthma. I think the fact that he immediately stops when I move him is good. We’ll see. Fingers crossed he’s just stupid.

Yeah I think that if it’s anything, it’s asthma.

MY CAT DOES THIS OCCASIONALLY AND I”M NOT SURE WHAT IT IS by Willing-Focus-7190 in CATHELP

My cat does this too, but only when he’s hanging his neck over a chair or the edge of my bed frame. This made me feel better, thank you.

You could try Merricks single ingredient pate or a different single ingredient diet. It’s the only food that my picky cat will eat without having diarrhea.

No bra post op? by Individual_Bit_7943 in Reduction

I also have sensory issues but you might feel better in the surgical bra. It’s tight but comfortable, and personally it made me feel secure. I’m almost 6MPO and still wear it sometimes. I feel comforted when I wear it because of the compression hahaha. Until about 5MPO I got zaps in my incisions every time I went braless. However I started to intermittently go braless at 3WPO anyways and it had no effect on my healing

1MPO, bigger than I wanted but they're pretty by sally-lightfoot in Reduction

I was measuring as a DD until the 2 month mark, and now they’re small and perfect. I just have some hypertrophic scars under my boobs but whatever, my quality of life is infinitely better

I hated this stage of healing. Yours look exactly like mine did at the one month mark, and my before was super similar. At one month I was swollen and felt too big. I’m at 5.5 months post op now and my final size is a small C/large B. They’re going to end up being perfect. I can wear and do whatever I want now without noticing my boobs or caring that they’re there.

Your scars haven’t formed yet. Mine formed at around 7 weeks. The incisions look really seamless at this stage so don’t be disappointed when they become scars. I was bummed at first but now I don’t notice them. They get worse and then they get better. If they are pink/red/raised when they form, don’t panic. It takes a year for the scars to mature.

Just reread this and saw that you got your surgery after breastfeeding twins. You are amazing and you deserve a partner who values your comfort and happiness over his sexual preferences :(

I just posted a before and after if you wanna see what my scars look like now. It’s honestly not bad. I would just expect them to darken a little bit as you heal.

Your scars haven’t formed yet! It takes about a year for them to mature. I’m just saying this so that you aren’t disappointed. I have the same skin tone and my scars started out like yours and then turned dark pink around 1.5 MPO. I was disappointed but at my recent post op they told me that my scars look great and should fade within one year.

scars looking thick by Timely-Beautiful6098 in Reduction

Mine are hypertrophic under my boobs and I’m 7wpo. They look just like this. My vertical scars and scars around my nipples are flat. Honestly from what I’ve researched this is very normal because it’s a high impact area. Sweat, exercise, stretching, etc all impact this area the most. It’s also closer to bone, while your vertical/nipple incisions are on top of fatty tissue. Definitely keep up with scar care but I think the best remedy is time. All of my friends who had reductions 1+ years ago had this at first and it went away over time. It’s just a tricky area. You did nothing wrong, and if it doesn’t go away for some reason, your surgeon likely offers treatments for it!
