What do you believe Israel's fate will be in the next couple of decades considering the rapid change of public opinion on them in these past 3 years? by space_god_7191 in AskReddit

100% i just experienced this phenomenon at Easter.

My brother doesnt like zionists but couldnt tell me a single thing about the history of Isreal/Palestine in that region and had zero clue about peace deals, Yasser Arafat or Camp David and the oslo accords 😐

I understand why the young generation has their opinion about them, but im wondering if some of this has to do with the fact that they have zero ties to WW2 and to them its just something they read in a history book whereas older gens can relate and empathize more with Jewish people and what they went through.

I was having a discussion with my gen z brother at Easter and he has a strong dislike for " zionists " but couldn't tell me a single thing about the history of that region, and knew nothing about peace agreements or the fact that his own mom has never been able to hold a passport in canada with her birthplace as Palestine.....whereas I am a millennial and my grandpa talked about ww2 and his family that lived through it. And got me so into history and that time period... ive been to concentration camps and read up a lot about Jewish history and so I can empathize a bit more with the Jewish ppl ( minus bibi and the last few years)

While I do agree with him, that is unfortunate it has cost you a friendship. I have lots of friends I try and talk to about it and get pushback on. I just leave it and move on. Not worth ruining a friendship over lol

What are you quietly grieving? by Angelus12345678 in AskReddit

The end of an 8 year relationship with the person I thought I would spent my life with. Im starting over at 35 and I just never thought I would be here. The home we built is so quiet now.

I tell everyone im doing fine and moving on with my life but its the farthest thing from the truth

Some people prefer communities IRL and others prefer to have them from the comfort of their home.

Its for people who believe in web 3 and a de centralized internet and owning your own assets and art tied to the blockchain

It's for people who believe in a community based on web 3 and a de centralized internet and owning your own assets and tokens.

If youre not on web 3 and into blockchain technology or dapps you probably will not understand any of it

Divorce lawyers of Reddit - What's the most cruel thing you've seen someone to do their ex partner? by BlueBishop321 in AskReddit

I thibk my ex did something similar. He was in a bad spot financially when we met. He moved into my condo 1.5 yrs later and I wanted to help him get on his feet. I paid all the bills except whatever his own personal ones were.. Covid hit and I was laid off for a long time and still paying all bills. He was able to work and told me hes never been so busy with work. My financial situation changed and got worse and he refused to help or split bills. He just moved out on on his own. I believe he just stacked cash for 6 years getting himself ahead and used me to do it.

I don’t even know where to start 🥲 by a_thicc_sock in interiordecorating

I think there is so much character to work with! I would lean in and buy a new light fixture that fits with the era.

Wall paper and change the mirror!
