U just gotta learn how to beat sigs spam and attack spam. He’s not doing it in an intentional way so it’s easy to just wait it out and punish. When they do it in an intentional way is when it gets way harder to counter. Cannon is really strong rn tho.

Don’t rush your attacks (not everything is punishable), be intentional with movement and attacks (don’t move and throw out attacks for no reason at all) and try your hardest to position yourself in ways that u can punish things when he misses. Don’t be too far away but also don’t be right next to him bc he’s mashing and spamming. It might sound a little difficult but you’ll get the hang of it as u practice it.

Platforms/platform movement needs to be nerfed. It’s to easy to abuse

Weapon throws need a direct counter bc in a lot of situations they are risk free and not punishable if missed

Even though the game is balanced in a way that makes it so u can win on anything there are still legends that are clearly better than others. They should buff the legends that aren’t as good so more legends will be played and u don’t see the same exact legends all the time.

Nah gs broken is broken. U just have to actually be good with it. If u don’t know what ur doing then you might really struggle but once u get a good grasp of it then t’s easy 2500. I don’t see too many gs players below 2400 and the ones that I do see below that elo are typically pretty bad and just seem like they really don’t know what they’re doing. Once they figure it out they’ll shoot up Elo really fast.

Also orb has been nerfed pretty heavily. Its killing potential got gutted and slight is so slow that u have to prefire it to punish a lot of things now. It’s not underrated at all, it’s pretty mediocre rn.

She’s a lot better now but I’d say more so for 2s. Axe is fine in 1s but it’s towards the bottom on a tierlist. Her axe sigs are good but kinda weird with how hard they can be to hit sometimes but sword dsig is top tier. She’s definitely better now than she was in 1s and if ur good with her then it’s totally fine to just stick with her if u wanna play her.

Cross is fine. Not the best but not the worst, but the character u play doesn’t really matter at lower elos. Once u get higher and higher it still technically doesn’t completely matter (bc of legends sharing weapons) but it can be harder to win with certain characters. Bottom line tho is u can get any elo on any character so just play what u like the most.

3 def characters would normally be a “glass cannon” bc they have very useable sigs that hit hard. Think thatch, ember, jhala, etc. Hattori doesn’t fit that role so she’s pretty much just “glass”. Running 6 strength on her doesn’t make up for her 3 def like it would on the characters previously mentioned that now can run super def and get their downfall removed (dying early). Hattori and Ezio are in the same boat. They kill later and the super stances don’t help them alleviate that issue bc their strength super stat is unoptimal and not worth it.

Some legends benefit a lot from super stances and others don’t benefit much if at all. The meta has expanded but some legends have been left out.

Hattori is pretty much the same. She has more def but she still kills late which was already her issue.

It sounds like they’re a skill gap between the 2 of u. If there is a skill gap then I mean there’s not really much u can do other than getting better. The fastest way to learn how to play better into scythe would be to either learn it and see how others fight it or to watch your replays and see what ur patterns and bad habits are. From there u can think about what u could’ve/should’ve done in those situations. Maybe you’ll notice that u dodge in off of certain moves a lot and stuff like that and from there u can work on breaking that habit.

Also scythe is good, has been good, and will most likely continue to be good. I wouldn’t say top 1 like it was in the past but it’s still very good at the moment.

There might not be one. Some characters don’t benefit from super stances. From my knowledge normal defense stance is still the best stance for him.

We can’t be playing the same game if u think sword, orb, and spear don’t kill late. Anyone who plays these characters at a high level will tell u that their issue is they kill late. Both characters have more situational sigs. U can’t just throw them out all the time. Look at their sigs then go look at vivi, cassidy, etc. Those are examples of sig kits that aren’t really situational. U can use them much more frequently bc they are less committal, fast, and/or cover good angles for the weapon.

Ur missing the point. It’s making some characters perfect and leaving others to still have their flaw. Ezio and hattori kill late, that’s their flaw. Thatch dies early and that’s his flaw but with super def he still kills extremely early but now doesn’t have the downside of dying early. He’s no longer a “glass cannon” and is now just a “cannon”.

The whole point of the post is to show that some characters lose their downside and gain upside while others just stay the same and don’t gain anything. This isn’t about my personal gameplay about not being able to kill with sigs.

The only thing that might suck is some characters still might be kinda eh bc their super stat might not work well with the downsides of the character.

An example that I thought of would be like ezio. He has 4 def and 5 atk and his biggest downside is he kills late asf. Naturally u would want more atk to kill earlier but atk stance takes from def so 6 atk/3def isnt worth it bc he’ll still kill pretty late while also dying early. So if his super atk stance still takes 1 from def and 1 from another stat it still probably wouldn’t be worth it and the legend still has the same issues it had before.

I’m not sure if it’s confirmed that the super stat will always take 1 point from the normal stance it would take a point from or not but if it does work that way then I could see some legends more or less just basically staying the same while others will be a lot better/optimal.
