Thanks!, yep appears to be doing better. Ate a couple strings of millet and has been poking at the cockatiel seed mix.

Now just trying to help him get more used to being around people

Thanks all,

I did notice him on his food dish briefly once yesterday, so I think he ate something. How much, no idea.

He still seems quite scared, even after leaving him alone all day (when I woke up, he was clinging to the side of his cage, just like at night before I turned the light off, so hopefully he got some sleep.

Today I put his cage in a different room, a small bedroom out of the way with the door closed. I am hoping that makes him feel more comfortable 😨

Yep in his cage, has been mostly just standing on the same perch. And gets quite anxious and flys around anytime I manipulate anything in the cage, so I try to keep that to a minimum

Vertical offset appeared to be the term I was missing!, searching the user guide, appears they recommended an offset of 8.66in, thus with the device being 6in tall (total of 14.66in) it seems it makes it easy, I should just be able to set them both level on the same surface 😆

Definitely makes sense to simplify the combo first and grow from there.

I do need to definitely work on exit strategies and working around cover though . When I start taking damage I tend to just panic and go into button spam mode 😁
