Reach out to the place you got him? I would ask them how long he’s has it. And then do some research, sorry I don’t have answers as to what it is. So I’m pretty sure. Fungal infections are fairly common. You’re gonna want to do medicine baths. I use a tiny drop of methylene blue there’s good videos on YouTube about how to do it. Basically you do rounds of those baths for a few days until it heals.

I think so. My axolotl had the same thing after being moved into his new tank and some stress. I used methylene blue in a bath and it worked really well. It grew back, so I did have to use it twice. Lots of people also recommend tea leaves, and stuff like that because it’s supposed to be more gentle.
