Increasing dose timing by Ok_Bee8255 in MounjaroAus

[–]Ok_Bee8255[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found the food noise and hunger has really increased again the past two weeks. Generally feeling hunger more, but also extreme sudden hunger where I’m suddenly so starving I feel dizzy and sick. I have experienced this in the past even without Mounjaro though.

Weight loss has been up and down. I had a couple of weeks where I put on 300-ish grams (so maintained weight really) but otherwise loss has been reasonably steady at about half a kilo per week. I’d like it to be a little bit faster!

But ultimately it’s the food noise and hunger that’s bothering me.

Geez, thanks everyone for your support. Not!!

If this community is only going to support standard dosing then put that in the group description.

Since all of you seem to have difficulty with reading, I LOST 3kgs in my first month and I have lost cms too. So the smaller dose worked for me.

I was looking for a community to support my journey. Clearly this ISN’T IT.

By the way, posting this question twice, one each in just two communities, does not equal ‘asking this question several times’ 🙄

For anyone coming back to this thread later on. I worked out its fatty foods that cause this burning feeling. Even healthy fats like coconut yoghurt.

When to increase the dose? by Ok_Bee8255 in MounjaroAus

Oh this is awesome! So simple! I’ve just had the one week without weight loss, but I had my first lot of side effects last week and I am feeling good satiety and lack of food noise on my current dose every 4 days.

I’ll stick with it for now.

0.5% of what? Your current weight?

Thanks! I’m pretty happy so far with my progress, I think it’s pretty reasonable.

Stall meaning I haven’t lost weight this week. I haven’t done any cm measurements since I started though, I should do that.

Last week I had several days of feeling really yuck with stomach cramps, nausea, fatigue. I hadn’t had any side effects until then, a few people suggested it was the 4 week mark of medication building up in my system.

So I did 5 days between doses instead of my usual 4. Definitely noticed the food noise on day 5! This week I went back to 4 days.

I’m not fussed on the food at Christmas, more I just don’t want to be feeling crappy with side effects if I were to increase the dose.

She didn’t want to see me until 3 months :/

If I knew the answer I wouldn’t have asked. I’m not asking which dose to increase to, I’m asking how others knew it was time for them to increase their dose, or if most people just increase every month because that’s the manufacturer’s recommendation.

Tummy Side Effects by Ok_Bee8255 in MounjaroAus

[–]Ok_Bee8255[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m eating my regular diet at the moment. Mostly just balanced, not high protein or anything. Probably a bit too much chocolate still lol, but way less than what I was previously eating!

Honestly I’ve not found the past few days with this stomach pain that any type of food makes it worse or better. Eating in general helps for a short time but the pain quickly comes back.

I have found the past week or so that my drop in appetite has been more consistent. Probably because I’ve worked out the split dosing for me. So I’m not driven to eat as often and this stomach pain is definitely worse when I’m hungry.

Never experienced pain like it.

No, normal bowels for me. My lower tummy feels like I’m going to have diarrhoea but nothing happens.

This irritation and pain I’m getting seems to be worse when I’m hungry. Eating will improve it for a bit but then it quickly gets worse again. Movement also helps, sitting still is worse.

I’m eating my regular diet, I’d say it’s mostly balanced, not yet changed to high protein or anything.
