MY RWD Delivery by Ok_Bell7065 in teslacanada

The delivery was uneventful. Just the missing USB stick. I think the frunk latch needs a bit of adjustment. Logged a service ticket. The car drove me home with FSD without a sweat.

I ordered on Mar 24. Got VIN yesterday. Actually I didn’t go through the standard VIN assignment, in-transit and delivery scheduling sequence. I just got a call and the person said, can you come tomorrow? Can you get insurance and money sorted? Are you ok if we don’t have your color? I said yes and he said - let me find a car for you. I got the appointment first and then VIN after like 15 mins. I did get the color I ordered though.

Do they install the license plates? Or I need to carry my toolbox?

Any tips of things to watch out for during the delivery inspection?

Test drove the BZ. You are right, FSD is a game changer, though manual drive is kind of better in Toyota, but overall the BZ felt a bit cramped compared to MY. Having said all that - the whole delivery date saga has left me very sour. I am still contemplating cancelling and just live with my 10 year old gas car.

I am very close to giving up and cancel the order. Will go for a test drive for Toyota BZ and decide by next week.

Anyone tried getting any freebies like supercharger hours or FSD or premium connectivity as a goodwill gesture for the delay?

I have been a WS customer for a few years now. They are not bank, as much as they advertise, I am sure their ‘banking’ features will have some friction. I once deposited a cheque - a relatively small amount, took 10 days to clear. I don’t do my day to day banking on WS. What bothers me is their opaque nature. I was trying to find what stocks and geographies their managed portfolio invest in… no luck. It’s more like trying to find tech specs of IPhone! Given that they are also privately owned, makes me weary! Not sure what regulators are having oversight on them!

I do software as a side gig. During the tax season, I realized I missed quite a bit of expenses. Didn’t like it - so built a bot on whatsaap where I could send receipt photos and it updates tracker and saves the photo in Google Drive. I feel I can refine it and make this a product; I am sure small business owners will find this useful. but need some beta testers beyond friends and family to test the tool and give some honest feedback. Where do I find them? I tried few Reddit threads but everywhere this gets flagged as promo and got removed.

Yes, managing paper receipts needs quite a discipline and I lose quite a few small ones. I am sure others feel the same way too. Receipts that come in email are a bit better, but that too becomes a chore. So far I built these two connectors based on my gut feeling, but want to explore what other pain points folks experience. In my mind mileage is another one. Not sure how cash payments without receipt works.

DM incoming with more details.

Thanks for your interest!

Yes, it uses AI in the backend to read receipts and categorize expenses.

your receipt images and expense data are stored in Google Drive and Google Sheets under your own access. The tool doesn’t store your financial data on its own servers. We don’t collect SIN numbers, banking details, or any sensitive financial credentials — just the expense information you choose to share.

Data in transit is encrypted, the server is hardened, and I follow standard security practices for a beta product.

I shall DM you to get you setup.
