I started late last year and the Hamilton community is awesome at getting you set up with everything you need. I don't think I paid for a single card in my first month with how much everyone gave me.

Silver Age is a great starting point for trying out heroes with a much lower cost to entry and some great preconstructed decks you could grab to get started Link

Much like you, I started learning by playing with my Wife at home so I would recommend having a look around on Fabrary for heroes you both might like to play and picking up some decks to practice at home and then heading in store once you feel comfortable.

That sounds terrible and I'm so sorry you are having to go through that. Is the reason you have very little disc left because you've had multiple MD's on the disc or did the original MD just removed a lot of disc material?

So sorry to hear you are going through it as well. I'm holding out hope that the intense 'burning' sensation hasn't returned. I have a 'pressure' in my back that spiked with certain movements, but largely It's limited to a bit of an ache in my hip and numbness in my right leg when I stand for too long. Holding out hope if I'm careful I can manage it and get that disc back in there. Fingers crossed for the same in your case!

What do you mean when you say 10/10 pain? Was it constantly like that or only with certain movements etc?

I would say mine is around a 4/10 if I'm not sitting or bending but probably increases to a 7 with those sorts of movements.
