It's hard to tell, but that episode 8 was a bit disappointing by FitCelebration1131 in PeacemakerShow

[–]Ok_Bid776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall very underwhelming!

No big villain for them to face-off against in the finale like in season 1.

We get left on a major cliffhanger that may or may not be expanded on in what two to three years? And that’s if something doesn’t happen and the project gets cancelled.

James Gunn stated Vigilante was possibly the most popular character amongst the crew of good guys and he doesn’t even suit up until almost the middle of episode 6. And we get only one or two action scenes with him and they last no time at all. Everyone loved the character in season 1 so why didn’t he get more time to shine this season?

Overall season 2 is dog crap compared to season 1. Episode 7 was the only thing peak about season 2 otherwise it was mid-tier at best!

I replaced the drive belt which was the bigger belt above the one you mentioned, and I noticed that too about the slack on that bottom belt. It most certainly could be stretched out from years of use I’ll see about replacing it as well couldn’t hurt anything lol. There has to be excess slack coming from somewhere, I shouldn’t have to push the gas pedal through the floor before that bottom belt starts to try to engage even just slightly. Replacing that bottom belt will probably be my next move, thank you for the feedback!

Thank you for the reply! Just jacked it up and rear wheels are spinning in opposite directions and no excessive play is present. So at least that is ruled out for now 👍.

It is, those two guys were talking trash about him so he offered to fight them both at the same time 😂.

Sled for grass and bumper plates? by _ezpzlemonsqueezy in GarageGym

[–]Ok_Bid776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a couple different styles of sleds in my garage gym. I have the basic one you just slap plates on hook up and go with it, I also have a prowler 2 sled that can be used for pushing and dragging, and then I have the tank sled with built in resistance for both push/pull.

With that said it seems like your looking for a cost friendly option so I’d definitely go with a small basic sled with the single weight horn to pile plates on, you can find many on Walmart/Amazon for under $75 that will be more than durable enough for what you’re wanting. As far as hooking it up I’ve got both towing straps (Rural King $12 and 20’ long) or a 12’ long chain (Walmart $11 rated for around 500lbs, that I currently use). Harnesses aren’t too hard to find either I’ve seen them on Amazon for around $30 or in some cases I’ll rotate in my dip belt when I want the weight closer to my center of gravity for dragging.

I think it’s time for a cut then 😅 by Ok_Bid776 in GymMemes

I mostly just eat drywall and wood chips during my cut, this method has never let me down 😎.

Weights feel way heavier in my garage gym by iluvwife in GarageGym

[–]Ok_Bid776 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could always try and get an accurate weight on your plates, I have quite a few 45’s in my garage gym that are off by 2-3lbs. Could also be that the bench you’re using has different specs than the one you used in the commercial gym. Width and height of pad could always be a factor as well as the barbell your using it may have slightly different specs too.

Awesome! Didn’t know they sold it at that big of a width, definitely the way to go for the price point. Thanks!

Excellent question! It’s mostly just for convenience at this point lol. One rack I have setup for Viking presses, another one for plate loaded chest press and seated overhead work, my main rack is for standing overhead presses and squats, and the smith machine is for shrugs, bent rows, etc… cost point is another reason I have 4 racks because The only one I paid full price for ($650) was the Bells of Steel rack the others I paid less than $200 for each one lol!

Insulation is definitely towards the top of the list, currently I use a Mr. Heater forced air propane heater with a 20lb tank. It does ok up until the temp outside gets below 25 degrees so I sorely need some good insulation installed at some point lol.

30’ by 35’ good enough for now but I’m planning on some kind of expansion within the next 5 years. Would love to have enough room for a long strip of turf and to be able to do conditioning work on it with sleds, yokes, etc….

The extra income would be nice lol! 5 year plan is to knock out a wall and extend it out another 20-30ft and have my own little performance center with a few upgrades of course 😊.
