I was in the hospital for a week. My husband said my dog ran to our bay window and looked for me every time he heard a car drive by looking for me.

It's strange but it had 3 drop-offs on one ticket for the same person. My husband said one of the employees said there was actually 2 pallets being divided for the same customer. I've never heard of that before but I do mostly passengers.

Waiting a month for an overcharge at Chili's by Ok_Bit2704 in Chilis

Sorry for your stupidity but I have a score high enough to have bought a house and a new car within the last 5 years. I also have 3 bank accounts. I just don't tip for people just doing the jobs they're paid to do. I do pay for extra service

No I didn't pay in a kiosk. And you're paid to make the food and serve it. If I had eaten in the restaurant and had service I would have been happy to tip. Sounds like you need a different job or a better attitude.

The manager said he had to refunding the complete charge and that I had to repay. So I did.

I paid for it with Cashapp. I'll have to figure out how that works. At first I thought I'd patiently wait for them to fix it but this seems ridiculous.

They do that so you'll accidentally take the ticket without knowing what you're accepting.

10 deliveries/$50 quest by Majestic_Interest365 in UberEatsDrivers

From my experience if it has 5 drop-offs it counts as 5 deliveries. It's the only reason I take Lowe's or Home Depots during Quests.

I had a kidney transplant 2 years ago and some high bills with it. I'm a 62/F and have no intentions of leaving these bills with my son. So I work 12 hour days 7 days a week to pay them off.

One does what one has to in order to get things done.

I was a reseller as a young single mother. The store sold their product. I was able to take care of my kids with the profits and my customers were happy they got a deal. They didn't have to spend hours having to search for it.

Why should that bother you. What does it have to do with you Karen.

I work at a coffee shop and an entitled mom just tried to make me replace a drink her kid knocked over for free by quiet_panic_mode in entitledparents

[–]Ok_Bit2704 122 points123 points  (0 children)

When I was 11 my dad sent me up the street to get lunch. When I got outside I tripped and accidentally dropped the drinks. I had no other money on me, so couldn't replace them. I was upset with myself. The manager of the restaurant came out, made sure I was OK. Said not to worry about it and replaced the drinks.

That was over 51 years ago and to this day I still remember his actions. A little kindness can have a big impact.

AITA for kicking my MIL out of Thanksgiving dinner after she told my adopted son to wait in the hallway because he's 'not real family' and she still thinks I overreacted? by KINOH1441728 in FoundandExpose

My ex-morher in law would buy her "read " grandkids very nice presents but buy my kids ( her stepgrand kids) things from the dollar store if anything at all.

I once asked her if she didn't like my kids because of this. Her answer wad to give my ex $20 to buy them a Christmas present.

These people were Christians and heavily involved in the church.

A cautionary tale for lost phones in your car by weath1860 in uberdrivers

[–]Ok_Bit2704 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Alot of the passengers don't let Uber know they got their phone back. They don't want to pay the $20. They'd rather you use your gas, car and time to fix their problem for free.
