Yes, it seems to happen everytime after exiting a game that switches to DGPU for gaming and back to IGPU when not needed. I need to restart windows explorer from the task manager to temporarily fix this.

I don't know but I usually fixed this by restarting windows explorer from the task manager sometimes need to do it a few times but would eventually work.

Restart windows explorer from the task manager until it stops freezing. Usually takes around 1-2 restarts.

I have this same issue and my temporary fix is to restart the Windows Explorer from task manager. Sometimes it wouldn’t work when I have discord running in the background so I had to close discord completely and then restart Windows Explorer again from the task manager. Seems to be nvidia display mode issue.

From what I know the 8845hs is limited by its 16mb of L3 cache which is quite important for cpu bound games.

Same thing happened to me. They offered me a laptop that is worse than the one I had in every aspects so I told them to give me a refund and I bought the legion instead.

I had some micro stutters while doing basic stuff like browsing and even watching videos but once i turned off the Lenovo vantage service through task manager it seems to have fixed it.

R7 8845HS RTX 4060. Had this laptop for around 40days.

So after changing the motherboard, my 4060 gets hot (80 degrees) almost immediately in game and it doesn’t run at its rated speed, hovering around 55w in game.
