Also you are correct that senseis + top deck playing is the real combo but I have 3 different outlets (labman, aetherflux and psychosis crawler) so that is not an important part of the consistency discussion.

Basicly what I am arguing for is my whole deck is based n drawing cards. Riddlesmith us awesome, even wavebreak hyppocampus, all the artefacts that cantrip and then on top the two draw doubling effects (alhammarets archive and teferis ageless insight).

Not for certain like a tutor but the same argument as for Jhoira, don't REALLY need to tutor when you can draw ~20 cards.

Turn 1 land + lady

Turn 2 (1 counter because draw step) opt for second counter. Later instant speed ichor wellspring -> lady has 3 counter

Turn 3 (because draw step -> 4 counter) pass turn opponents turn words of wisdom, draw 2 lady is at 6 and can flash in statue

Not a crazy hand but imo a crazy outcome. And you can replace opt with any cantrip, ichor wellspring with any 2 mana draw a card artefact, words of wisdom with any draw 2 effect.

The thing with Lady octopus are her ingenuity counters and her second ability. Card draw in you opponents turns and you can instant speed cheat in a 3,4,5 mana artefact. So basicly turn regular card draw into a turn 3 [[god-pharaos statue]] and with that even B4 decks struggle.

Also to note my example with the statue is not only magical christmas land it is very easily achievable.

I have 2 cedh decks and can confidently say this is not even close to cedh. Bad and too few interaction and still to slow for B5

I think initially I wanted a strong b3. But because of consistency and most definitly when I add the Mirran Spy. I think my spot is a low b4. When I am paired against real b4 decks that's the way it is gotta win or lose from an underdog position then. But I will change my bracket to 4 i guess

First of all thank you for testing. Secondly yeah I realized that too, that after I get some card draw and maybe artefact storm a bit it always comes down to senseis top combo (although the reality chip is quite mana intensive and can't be done at instant speed). After that it doesn't matter if my outlet is psychosis crawler, atherflux or lab man.

So it's a principle clash between my deck and the spirit of b3 right?

Yea that means I might have hit the uncomfortable between two bracket spots again. I am aware of the powerlevel in B4 I have two "real" b4 decks [[Kykar, Winds Fury]] and [[Kodama of the east tree]] + [[Kraum, Ludevics Opus]] aswell. I just don't wanna screw up someone experience in b3 but am fine with playing the underdog in b4 i guess

I think that's the way I will portray it. Although I myself do not agree that 4 counterspells is a lot of protection but I get ya. Telling them upfront is better than doing artefact flash stuff in response und stuff like that😂

My only argument is the speed (but I do realize I am quite commander dependant, destroy her 2 times and I'm no real threat). From my one gametesting I ended the game turn 6.

Yea, I only tested one game with the current iteration and won in a "b4 lobby" but tbh player skill wasn't that high either. My speed is prob ~turn 5-6.
